The council meets regularly on the first Tuesday of each month to consider any business relating to finance, resolutions concerning village matters, correspondence from residents and Wiltshire Council for example and also planning applications. The council meets again on the third Tuesday, but only if there are additional planning applications to consider.

There is no meeting on the first or third Tuesday in August unless there are planning applications to consider.

                  RESIDENTS ARE VERY WELCOME TO ATTEND ALL MEETINGS OF THE PARISH COUNCIL

Note: planning applications should be submitted to Wiltshire Council which then consults with the appropriate parish council for a local opinion, but permission must be obtained from Wiltshire Council prior to any work starting.

Additional meetings
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is usually held on the first Tuesday in May and the Annual Parish Meeting on the third Tuesday in May - but please check with the Parish Clerk to confirm the actual dates and arrangements.

Unless otherwise stated on the agenda or notice of the meeting, all meetings start at 7pm and take place in the Elizabeth Hall located on Park Road.

Papers relating to the business of the Council are available for inspection for 30 minutes immediately prior to a meeting, in the Elizabeth Hall, or at other mutually convenient times by arrangement with the Clerk.

Members of the public may attend to ask questions/make statements only at the beginning of the meeting.  They may also observe the remainder of the proceedings, but are not entitled to participate.
